JMB VL3 915iS '23

Products installed/used: AVI24EX Smart Oxygen system with 408L Bottle, EX 3.0, Aithre Boom Cannula and Adaptors

Seeing the VL3 in person might cause you to stop and stare. Below the surface is a fast and capable airplane with attention to safety and good looks. This particular installation was made in the turbo 915iS version which flew from Czech to Oshkosh 2023 with Aithre systems installed.

The panel between the seats was chosen as the location for the cannula ports and panel button. This location allowed for quick installation and direct access to the AVI control box and bottle mounted directly behind. 

Pilot and co-pilot cannula ports in blue. Back-up continuous flow cannula ports in red above. Should there be any electrical failure to the AVI control box cannulas can be quickly connected to the back-up regulator for continuous flow. 

408L carbon fiber bottle provides excess endurance with minimal weight as well as sitting on a pedestal without taking up precious baggage space. Mounting clamps are provided with the system kit. 

408L bottle mounted via bottle clamps in the baggage compartment. All connections are quick disconnect for easy bottle removal for filling. 

Tested and flown across the Atlantic to AirVenture'23, ready to show off. It's not polite to stare, but we can't help ourselves.
